How long until I get my Parts?

How long will it take to get my parts is a common question. In this day and age of Amazon and Free 1 day shipping, we strive to do our best to get parts orders out to you as quickly as possible. We understand the needs of our Commercial landscape customers better than anyone. Being down a machine in the middle of spring or with out a snowblower in a snowstorm is a pain and most of here at ProParts being former landscapers know what it is like.

The answer to this question is not as easy as it should be.
Rough Ideas Of Shipping times

  • When a part is in stock it will be shipped the same day.
  • We are located in New Hampshire
  • Regular shipping means you will get the part next day

For the most part, anything on the East coast of the US takes about 2 to 3 days using regular ground shipping to get to you. If you order on a Monday and parts are in stock expect to see them on Wednesday or Thursday. if in Michigan or Texas that time frame is about 3 to 4 days.

What happens when an Item is not Instock.
The short answer is it adds about 1 or 2 days to the overall shipping time. The advantage we have over most local dealers is that we order every single day from Vendors sometimes more than once in a day from the same vendor. Which means we get the part on order either the next day or within that week. Our order volume ensures we can deliver these parts quick. In some cases when the Manufacture allows it we drop-ship the part to you which saves on average 2 or 3 days in shipping time.


What happens when an item is on back order.
First, you will be notified of the backorder through email or phone call. If the manufacturer shows us an ETA we will let you know. From experience, it is best to keep the part on backorder unless you can physically find the part. We see a lot of times a customer will cancel the order only to try to re-order it from another dealer and it also on backorder. The truth is, for the most part, dealers all order from the same distributor and if they are out and we don't stock it, everyone will be out. When you place a second order you go to the back of the line to receive the part.


Back to the Amazon Level of Service
While we would love to offer Same day or Guarantee Next day service, the power equipment industry is just not set up for this. The industry still uses an out of date manufacturer to distributor model that can at times really cause a delay in getting parts. So if a distributor does not have many calls for a specific part we cannot contact another distributor for that part because we are not in there territory. We have been able to make connections over the years to alleviate this, but a lot of the times parts are a secondary thought to selling the equipment and the impetus to get parts shipped out follows suit. The advantage with ProParts is that we do order all of the time, we have made the connections with manufacturers and distributor, we have people here who can find you options.
