It does the job, of you own a Ferris you know that it does not have the velocity to keep clippings in the deck long. This makes for great side discharging in wet and all conditions. However for mulching it is sufficient but I will say that it’s not the best mower for the job. The kit was easy to install and the blades seemed of great quality and durability.
