I purchased and installed the Cub Cadet LED Light Kit for a Cub Cadet 24 inch Snowblower. First of all before purchasing the kit from ProParts Direct LLC I checked numerous sellers of this product including Cub Cadet. Proparts Direct price was not only the most reasonable, but had the quickest shipping time. All of the required parts were included with the kit minus the tools for the installation. MTD Company suppplies the LED Light Kit which also included the instructions for installation. I did find one drawback regarding the installation instructions from MTD as the instructions included the Standard Height and Extended Height Model Snowblowers. Due to the fact the instructions photos showed the Extended Height Model and the written section went back and forth between standard and extended height for the prep of the placement and hole drilling. I feel this procedure could have been simplified by separating these procedures. Total installing time including checking the operation of the LED Light Kit took about one hour. Since the Blower Chute blocks the Snowblower installed Headlight when the chute is turned to the right it makes night time snow removal difficult, with the installation of a LED Light Kit on the Blower Housing this should greatly improve night time operation.
